Thank you to Esk Community Nursery
Te Mata Park Trust would like to extend a huge thank you to the team at Esk Community Nursery for their generous donation of 225 native plants.
The donation includes a wonderful mix of kōwhai, tōtara, pūkio/pūrei (Carex secta) and mānuka, all ready to be planted during this winter’s planting season.
Every native plant plays an important role in restoring and enhancing Te Mata Park’s unique landscape, providing habitat for native wildlife and helping ensure the Park continues to thrive for future generations.
We’re incredibly grateful to Esk Community Nursery for supporting our restoration work through this generous contribution.
Ngā mihi nui to everyone involved.
