We’re excited to be working alongside the incredible team at Clive School, where environmentally conscious tamariki from their Enviro Team have been hard at work transplanting self-sown tītoki seedlings to support future planting in Te Mata Park.

QEII National Trust visit Te Mata Park

Te Mata Park Trust was delighted to host members of the QEII National Trust board and team in the Park recently. The QEII contingent visited the Park as part of a field trip to Hawke’s Bay, exploring two covenants while they were in the bay.

Gifted in perpetuity to the community in 1927 and managed by a small group of volunteer trustees, with appreciated help from local councils and the community, the Park is a cultural, historical and recreational treasure.
