$10,000 grant from Eastern & Central Community Trust

We are fortunate to receive annual operational funding from Te Kaunihera ā-Rohe o Heretaunga – Hastings District Council and the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, which covers approximately two thirds of our costs. Each year the Trust has to raise funds to cover the remaining third of those operating costs. The generous  $10,000 grant from ECCT will help with this shortfall, and enable us to continue to pay for essentials like track maintenance, power, and insurance.

ECCT have been wonderful supporters of the Trust over the years, including a significant contribution towards the purchase of Te Kahika in 2019, the new block of land which has added great value to the Park. The Trust is grateful for ECCT’s ongoing support and proud to work with them to improve wellbeing and build strong communities and a flourishing environment.
