Te Mata Park has a rich human and geological history, and is home to a range of unique plants and native birds.
Look out for small signs with Quick Reference (QR) codes, identifying Points of Interest. Scanning the QR codes with a smartphone provides instant access to detailed information on these particular sites. There is good mobile phone reception in most areas of the Park, apart from the valleys.
